Business We Love

The independents people love.

Each week we pick one independent business per town, from nominations sent in by their customers. It's never for sale, it never changes search results, and nobody can win twice in a year.

This week's picks are on their way. Nominate a business below and it could be next.

Nominate a business you love

Find them below, open their page, and tap Nominate. It takes a minute and needs no email.

How we choose

1. Customers nominate a business and say why, in their own words.
2. Each week we read every nomination and pick one business per town: the most heartfelt reasons, not just the most votes.
3. We write it up using the nominations, and the business gets a page and an image to share.
4. Businesses can't pay, can't nominate themselves into a win, and can be picked at most once a year.
